The Brooklyn Barbell Club offers individualized powerlifting programs to increase strength and power for all athletes. Whether you’re just starting out, looking to get stronger while losing weight, or trying to bulk up, we’ll design a program specifically for you to get you to your goal!

2 sessions / wk.: $125 / mo.; 3 / wk.: $175 / mo.; 4+ / wk.: $225 / mo.

Some well-known programs we work with:
Starting Strength is a program developed by coach Mark Rippetoe that’s designed to take relatively untrained lifters and get them strong and muscular in a hurry. The program is based on a simple linear progression where the athlete adds weight to the barbell every workout.
5-3-1 is a program developed by Jim Wendler that makes it easier to continue with accessory training and maintain body weight while building strength. It focuses on the squat, the deadlift, the bench press and the press, and includes accessory movements such as the good morning, chin-ups, and dips.
